PRIDE HOUSE: QUEER AND DISABLED – A ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION

8 September @ 17:30 19:00

Poster for Queer and Disabled

Come listen to a dialogue by four members of the queer disabled community as they discuss their experiences at this important yet oft-overlooked intersection. We will talk about what it means to have two (or more) minority identities at the same time when it comes to relationships, work or studies, and community-building.

We will explore how being queer and disabled shapes our sense of self and how we experience our bodies, as well as how we navigate everyday life at the margins of society. The roundtable will be in English, with a maximum of 40 in-person attendees (registration required) with the possibility of online attendance if preferred. Hosted by NTNU’s INCLUDE Network for Disabled Staff, with support from LGBTQ+ Network and Landsforeningen for Skeive Funkiser

Location: NTNU Kalvskinnet – Akrinn vest. (Room “Enga”, G1.041, behind the kantine)

**The campus is locked on Sundays, so please meet at the outside entrance, SVERRES GATE 12, 17:00-17:20, to be led to the room by volunteers.

The room will be fully accessible and have nearby HC toilets. We will also have a sign interpreter. Note any additional needs or wishes in the registration form.
